We are proud of your accomplishments Lauren!
Lauren completed her first HS swimming season by earning a varsity letter. We are not clear on the criteria to earn a letter but believe it to be based on team points earned during the season. Lauren was one of only a handful of freshman girls to earn enough points for the varsity letter! Lauren showed commitment to the team by faithful practices. We knew she was committed when she did not get to sleep in during Christmas break and even participated in the 2 a days. Distance appears to be her event type as she only has one speed! Her YMCA coach has encouraged her to take off one month before training begins anew!
